About This Course

This course focuses on educational philosophy and ethics, and so it starts by defining and summarizing the concepts related to educational philosophy and ethics. Then it approached the western and non-western schools of educational philosophy. References to John Dewey are made. Also there are shown the perspectives on global and professional ethics. Finally the course ends with the educational implications of different approaches and the ethical dilemmas on educational contexts. It is expected that students , after this course, can apply concepts related to philosophy and ethics to discuss educational tasks and relationships in global contexts.
